A question of taste.
My other half arrived home from work with a packet of chips last night. She pointed to me excitedly that it was a new flavour ! Those chip were made to taste like "sausage sizzle".....makes me wonder....when will I be able to buy potato chips flavoured sausages ? Everything seems to be about new flavours these days, what's wrong with food that taste exactly like what they are made of ? lol

The best one I've seen is "baked potato" flavoured crisps (I guess you'd call them chips). Call me cynic if you wish, but making potato taste like a potato (with the aid of artificial flavouring) doesn't seem like much of a technological leap forward to me :-)
I think the one that frustrates me the most is the yoghurt section of supermarket. In France there is at least one aisle full of plain yoghurt, yet they are all very different in taste and texture but in Australia the concept of the plain yoghurt is close to being non existent.
Of course we do have some but the range is rather limited compared to their flavoured counterparts !
...I'm surprised nobody has yet started making potato and sausage sizzle flavoured yoghurt ! ..I reckon it would sell ! :)
