Drivers of the storm

something weird happened to me tonight. I'd just stepped off the bus, it was dark and pissing down rain, as I was walking home, I felt a car pull beside me. I looked and saw that the car was occupied by two women, on the front seat I recognised one of them as being a passenger on the bus I'd just got off from, another, more mature woman, was driving, she'd pulled her window down and asked me if I wanted a lift. As I didn't have much further to walk to get home, I politely declined.

Now had something like this happened 25 years ago I wouldn't think twice about it but the world being what it is today, I am somewhat surprised that two women would be willing to give a lift to a man that they have never met, on a dark stormy night..

Those women may have been a couple of lonely nymphomaniacs on the prowl said my other half teasing...to which I replied ....Damn! I missed an opportunity !
