I've always loved comic strips and grew up reading "tintin", "Asterix and Obelix", then in my early teens, I discovered the "Marvel Comics", and later magazines such as "Heavy Metal" with adult oriented comics.
I'm a cartoonist myself but I haven't done any work for quite a long time.
I thought I'd start a comic strip of my own and see where it leads me.
As much as I have thought about turning my blog into a book and have seen the book "laughin fertility" or however that title is regarding the lighter side of dealing with infertility I wonder if a book showing drawings of the real day to day side of infertility would play. Certainly not a book to uplift the reader but its interesting how the "single" panel comics on the site I linked to above hit the reader about the rawness of the issue.
Putting aside this issue what woudl be the focus of comics you woudl draw? Superhero stuff?
..and yes, I'm the guy in the phonebooth..... calling 911 because as I was ready to take off and rescue some poor soul, my cape got caught in the door and I've been unable to untangle myself for the last two hours !

Cartoons that I have drawn have been black and white single panel illustrations on varying subjects but I mostly enjoy doing satire.
